Furthermore, access to home ownership has become complicated by the job insecurity of young people, who have difficulties saving and accessing mortgages, aggravated by the increase in interest rates and inflation. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This situation has caused an increase in rental demand while supply shrinks, creating the perfect storm for rising prices. However, there is a natural limit: the disposable income of families. When rental prices become unaffordable, tenants look for alternatives, such as house sharing.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Alt Pened\u00e8s, room rentals already represent more than 20% of the residential rental supply, with prices around 400 euros per room. This type of rental, often in spacious homes with generous common areas, has become an attractive option due to its profitability and for not being subject to the restrictions of the Urban Leasing Law.
